Huge mahalo to Chef Jason Kiyota of Threadfin Bistro, Roberto Viernes, Master Sommelier at Lotus Spirits and Randy Kuba, owner of Shaka Spirits for hosting the inaugural “Soldierʻs Dream” wine pairing dinner. This dinner series challenges chefs and wine experts to imagine WWII Nisei soldiers in the 100th/442nd RCT discovering a cache of fine wines and imagining what they might eat with the wines.

$20/person Donation

Hosts charge their normal ticket price for a wine pairing dinner, adding $20/person as a donation to THE 100TH. Patrons are introduced to the film project via a short trailer and chat by key production members.

Chefs are invited to express their creativity from high-end preparations to rough and ready kau kau and BBQ preparations. As long as the food tastes great and pairs well with awesome wines, we believe the series will create good vibes and satisfied stomachs.
