Private Test Screening: Maunalani Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, 02 July 26, 1:30-4pm

A free private test screening of THE 100TH, Seeds of Aloha will take place on Thursday, July 2, at 1:30-4:00 PM at Maunalani Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. The event features a 110 minute screening and Q&A with producer/director Steve Sue. Residents, their guests and staff are welcome to attend free of charge. As a test screening, comments are welcome to help make the film as good as it can be.
Celebrate 250 years of independence by being among the first to see the new film about the 100th/442nd RCT ~ the WWII “Purple Heart Battalion” from Hawaiʻi ~ one of the most decorated units in US military history that used the concept of Aloha while liberating Italy, France and Germany and for 80 years after the war in the rebuilding of a free world.
Maunalani Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit skilled nursing and rehabilitation center that has served Hawaii’s seniors, or Kupuna, since January 1950. It is also a VA-preferred skilled nursing care provider for United States Veterans residing in Hawaii. Maunalani has a strong tradition of honoring veterans. During Veterans Day 2025, thirty-two veterans were honored at Maunalani, including three World War II Nisei veterans. In March 2026, twenty-four veterans were honored in recognition of National Vietnam Veterans Day.
